This blogg provides an insight into some nice guppyrooms in Berlin/Germany!
Look at this:

It is a combination of the x-linked Red-Topschword (without any dorsal pigment) and y-linked Metarika from Asia.
And now enjoy the action of this young Platinum Halftuxedo
(aka Platinum Saddleback)
So, stay tuned!
Hi tobi,
AntwortenLöschenI flipped through some of your older posts and happen to see this picture. Can you tell more about its genetic other than the half-tuxedo and platinum? Does this male of yours carry the suppressor gene that inhibits sword growth or was it just because it is still young? Thanks and have a nice day.
with regards,
Shi Xuan
Hi,
AntwortenLöschenon the one hand this male was still young, but also it carried some surpressor genes, too. Phänotypical it was a cofertail.
I sold the platinum half-tuxedo to Ömer Gülmez. The offspring of this male in Ömers breedingroom were varieties between cofertails and unregular finshaped fish. To fix the "shorttailed", Ömer has to put a strong shorttail-x into this strain. Perhaps a x-linked snakeskin out of an good Galaxy Cofer/Roundtailstrain. But I don*t know Ömers breeding-plan, to these platinum half-tuxedos.
cheers tobi
